RWS Entertainment Group Tapped By Iberostar Hotels & Resorts to Expand Award-Winning Star Camp Live Programming  Image

RWS Entertainment Group, the world's largest full-service live entertainment production company, announced that Iberostar Hotels & Resorts will partner with the company to launch new entertainment programming in over 14 hotels worldwide to include new stage productions, resort-wide pop-up activations and a refreshed Star Camp Kids entertainment experience. RWS Entertainment Group will provide a turn-key solution for Iberostar, including creative and operational entertainment services.

Iberostar's Star Camp was launched in 2019 and designed to transform the family vacation concept by making children's rest and relaxation time more engaging and purposeful. The program bases its approach on the theory of multiple intelligences, which advocates for building intelligence through the interrelation and cooperation between people. It features more than 140 activities designed for beneficial entertainment that encourages kids' integral growth and development, based on values that also form part of the hotel chain's philosophy, such as cooperation, empathy and healthy habits.

As the recent recipient of Travel Weekly's Magellan Award for Overall Education Programming, Star Camp Live highly imaginative programming combines entertainment with values through play and creativity. RWS Entertainment Group created a new wave of change for Star Camp, introducing new characters: Wanda the Walrus, Tati the Turtle and Curtis the Crab, to accompany Starky and Stella, complete with an original soundtrack and crowd pleasing hit song. The success of this program has initiated an international roll out, which will include more property-wide entertainment packaging for guests of all ages. This resort-wide entertainment package will include an immersive approach, incorporate unique food and beverage opportunities and interactive elements.
