Off the Lane's ColLab program, in partnership with Uproar Theatrics and LDK Productions, presents a special industry-only, pop-up presentation of the new musical OPEN, STAY. This event will transport the audience to the Kismet Café where private and public moments converge over a favorite beverage.

OPEN, STAY is a musical celebration of human connection, capturing a day in the life of a corner café. Through interwoven stories, the show explores themes of love, loss, friendship, and the lessons learned along the way. Audiences will experience endearingly awkward love confessions, gaslighting, grief, humor, true love, and more. The songs from Open, Stay have already gained significant attention on social media, with over 1 million views on TikTok and more than 220,000 streams on Spotify.

This five-character musical, featuring music and lyrics by Anna DeNoia, with arrangements and orchestrations by Joshua Villa and original book by Kyle Holmes, will be staged in coffee shops around the country, offering an immersive environment that mirrors the show's intimate narrative.

The cast includes Sophie Brubaker (Hootenanny Tonight!), Xavier Cornell (“The Voice”), Olivia Rose Hellman (Album: Catharsis), Malia McLellan (Urinetown), Natalie Myrick (Tarzan), and Lison Tunick (Pump Up the Volume).

The creative team features direction by Mindy Cooper, music direction by Graham Sobelman, choreography by Ephrat Asherie, and vocal direction with additional arrangements by George Luton. Casting is by Stephanie Klapper Casting with Marissa Councill as the stage manager and general management by LDK Productions.
