BroadwayCon has announced initial programming for BroadwayCon Industry Day.

BroadwayCon Industry Day will feature panels facilitated by Mike Kriak, Broadway producer and COO of Mashable, Broadway producer and sports entrepreneur Brisa Trinchero, and Broadway producer and technology entrepreneur Tim Kashani.

Additional panels, curators, and keynotes will be announced at a later date. Curated by Situation, BroadwayCon Industry Day will take place on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at the Crowne Plaza Times Square Manhattan. For more information, visit www.BroadwayCon.com/IndustryDay.

The Future of Broadway Fan Engagement

Broadway fans used to demonstrate their love for a show by saving the Playbill or buying a poster. Today, shows' brand managers are constantly pushing out new content, and fans are hungry for even more. Mike Kriak (Broadway producer and COO of Mashable) moderates a panel of media and content storytellers discussing how Broadway fans can remain connected to their favorite brands in the future of digital-driven media.

A Page from the Sports Section

Go into town on game day and from the supermarkets to the shopping malls, everyone is wearing their team colors and discussing their favorite players. Why should the day of the Tony Awards be any different? Broadway producer and sports entrepreneur Brisa Trinchero moderates a panel of leading sports brand experts on the making and nurturing of fan relationships and what Broadway can learn from them.

The Role of Technology in Advancing the Fan Relationship

Ten years ago, we couldn't have imagined that a show could stream its final curtain call live to Facebook for a million viewers, or that that photos and videos tweeted to a show's account could end up in an onstage montage. What do the next ten years have in store? Broadway producer and technology entrepreneur Tim Kashani introduces us to the leading technology voices emerging from Silicon Valley that have the potential to expand the fan experience, both inside and outside the theater.

BroadwayCon Industry Day will bring together a diverse group of speakers, all united in their passion for fostering unique experiences for Broadway's fans. The full speaker lineup and schedule will be announced at a later date.
