John Cariani, Lisa Kron, Des Mcanuff, Itamar Moses & Sergio Trujillo Set For The Producer's Perspective Super Conference  ImageTony Award-winning Producer Ken Davenport (Once On This Island, Gettin' The Band Back Together) has announced initial speaker line-up for the 2nd annual Producer's Perspective Super Conference on November 10th and 11th at the NYIT Auditorium on Broadway.

Tony Award-nominee John Cariani will serve as the 2018 Keynote Speaker. Tony Award winners Lisa Kron (Fun Home), Des McAnuff (Jersey Boys), Itamar Moses (The Band's Visit) and Tony Award nominee Sergio Trujillo (On Your Feet!) are panelists.

Held at NYIT Auditorium on Broadway, the 2-day event aims to unite aspiring writers, producers and other theatre professionals with industry leaders. The weekend will offer a series of panels and presentations on topics ranging from raising money to getting press for your project to finding creative partners.

Ken Davenport says, "It's about getting in a room with similar, like-minded, passionate people. And, when people who are super passionate get in one room, meet each other, listen to experts. . . it explodes with action as a result."

Additional panelists include Tony Award-nominated producing team Stephen Byrd & Alia Jones-Harvey (The Iceman Cometh), Di Glazer (ICM Partners), Tom Melcher (Show-Score), Entertainment Attorney M. Kilburg Reedy, and veteran press agent Susan L. Schulman as well as a Keynote presentation on raising money from Neal Shenoy (Co-Founder and CEO of Homer). Ken Davenport is a Tony Award-winning Broadway producer whose credits include Once On This Island (2018 Tony Award Best Musical Revival), Gettin' The Band Back Together, Deaf West Theatre's Spring Awakening, Kinky Boots (Tony Award), The Visit (Tony nomination), It's Only a Play, Mothers and Sons (Tony nomination), The Bridges of Madison County, Macbeth starring Alan Cumming, Godspell, Chinglish, Oleanna starring Bill Pullman and Julia Stiles, Speed-the-Plow, Will Ferrell's You're Welcome America (Tony nomination), Blithe Spirit starring Angela Lansbury (Broadway, West End and National Tour), and 13, as well as Daddy Long Legs, That Bachelorette Show, Altar Boyz, My First Time, The Awesome 80s Prom, and Miss Abigail's Guide to Dating, Mating, & Marriage Off-Broadway.
