Jeffrey L. Nissen Arts Education & Development Fund and Open Jar Studios Open Applications For Spark Grant Program

The Jeffrey L. Nissen Arts Education & Development Fund has opened applications for the Spark Grant, a new program designed to support artists looking to develop new work. In partnership with Open Jar Studios, this program will award studio space credits on a rolling basis, as availability allows. Individual aspiring artists located in the tri-state area of New Jersey, New York and Connecticut are encouraged to apply.

Eligibility Criteria and Guidelines:

• Open to all multidisciplinary and performing artists.

• Grants can be used for any activities related to the development of the artist's project, including meetings, rehearsals, presentations, filming, etc.

• All studio bookings must be made after the notification of the award.

• Applicants that illustrate a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion through reach, theme and/or by design are encouraged to apply.

• No owner nor partial owner of Open Jar Studios are ineligible to apply for the Spark Grant Program.
