Caroline Barnard has been promoted to the role of Executive Vice President of Business & Legal Affairs at Concord Theatricals. She succeeds Victoria Traube, who after a 50-year legal career stepped down from the position in August to become a consultant to the company.

As Executive Vice President of Business & Legal Affairs, Barnard will be responsible for the business and legal affairs department of Concord Theatricals, as well as overseeing legal matters related to the work of Rodgers & Hammerstein. Barnard has been a member
of the Theatricals Business & Legal Affairs department for the past six years, beginning as Vice President in 2018 and as Senior Vice President since 2022. Previously, she served as Vice President of Professional Licensing for The Musical Company, Concord’s
joint venture with the Really Useful Group. Barnard spent eight years as an associate in the Corporate and Entertainment Departments at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, and prior to her legal career, worked in nonprofit development. She has been
a guest speaker for Boston University’s Arts Administration program. Barnard is a graduate of Harvard Law School and Princeton University.

“I’m honored to lead the Business & Legal Affairs team during this exciting period for Concord Theatricals. I look forward to working with Sean Flahaven and the rest of the Theatricals team, as well as with Amanda Molter and the General Counsel’s office, to
support Concord’s work across the theatre industry and to provide the highest level of service to our authors, clients, and customers,” said Barnard.

“Caroline is a brilliant attorney and strategic advisor, and we have been very fortunate to have her as a collaborator for seven years,” said Sean Patrick Flahaven, Chief Theatricals Executive at Concord. “I’m looking forward to continuing to work closely with
her on our many projects in licensing, publishing, recording, and producing.”

“I am thrilled to have Caroline stepping into this Executive Vice President role,” said Amanda Molter, General Counsel at Concord. “Her advice combines top legal acumen with commercial business judgement, and I am so pleased to be working with her more closely
now as a direct member of my team.”
