The presentation, directed by Chloe Treat (Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812) features Caroline Aaron (“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” Conversations with Mother), Lucille Lortel Award and Drama Desk Award-winner  Francis Benhamou (Prayer for The French Republic), William DeMerritt (HBO’s The Normal Heart, The Death of the Last Black Man at Signature Theatre), Andy Gale (Rags, Side Show on Broadway), Adam Kantor (Fiddler on the Roof, Rent on Broadway), Zachary Prince (Mother Play, Honeymoon in Vegas on Broadway), Sharone Sayegh (Come From Away, The Band’s Visit on Broadway) and Rebbekah Vega-Romero (Seussical, TheatreWorksUSA tour).

Trapped in their luxury resort bungalow in Turks and Caicos as a sudden hurricane descends upon them, the Rosenberg family is forced to confront deep-seated tensions over identity, faith, and geopolitical beliefs, sparking intense confrontations and shattering family bonds. Caught between external chaos and internal conflict, the family must navigate their profound differences to find unity before everything is torn apart.
Â
At Midnight Theatricals, S. Asher Gelman is Artistic Director, Stefano Milici is Executive Director, and Robbie Simpson is Director of Creative Development. For The Rosenbergs, Evan Bernardin Productions is General Manager, Chris Steckel is Production Stage Manager, Geoff Josselson is Casting Director, and Think Big Picture is Marketing Director.

“As someone who has spent my entire life wrestling with my Jewish identity, and all the complexities and contradictions that lie within, it has been a profoundly cathartic and beautiful experience exploring what it means to be Jewish, in this moment, with this extraordinary group of people,” says playwright S. Asher Gelman. “In our deeply divided time, I hope this play inspires people to seek a way back together, despite our differences in identity and belief.”
