Kapan Nikah (21-23 February at Teater Salihara)

The second installment in the “Kapan” universe, “Kapan Nikah” translates to “When Are You Getting Married?”, a question familiar to most Indonesians. This original musical will feature an exciting arena-style staging, audience interaction, multiple endings, and immersive theming at the venue.
“Kapan Nikah” is directed by notable theater director Venytha Yoshiantini with original songs by composer and music director Felita Kezia. The show promises to observe the different sides behind this ubiquitous question and how to answer it for those yet-to-be-married, through the eyes of a couple: Monika and Adi.

The Warrior’s Heart: Lutung Kasarung (21 February at Global Sevilla Pulomas Auditorium)

Sister Act, based on the movie of the same name starring Whoopi Goldberg, is coming to Jakarta this March as one of the few theatrical shows taking place during the month of Ramadan.
The musical tells the story of Deloris VanCartier, a night club singer who goes into hiding at an abbey and finds unexpected friendship there. Legendary composer Alan Menken wrote the music for this 'divine musical comedy'.
