Feature: Kapan Resign Launches Original Cast Recording on Digital Platforms

The original musical Kapan Resign launched their Original Cast Recording on Labor Day (May 1st) 2024. The production team held a launching event at Lucy Beer Mart, Kemang, attended by the show’s cast and creatives, as well as media and partners.

Kapan Resign takes place in a creative agency called Smile, Inc. The story revolves around several characters trying to balance their personal lives with the demands of a cutthroat boss. The show ran from October 6 to October 8 at Teater Salihara. Our full review can be read here.

Launching an Original Cast Recording is still a relative rarity among original Indonesian musicals, typically only done by bigger productions such as Musikal Petualangan Sherina or Musikal Cek Toko Sebelah (that have the budget and resources to spare).

Therefore, Kapan Resign investing in producing and launching their Original Cast Recording as a community production is a laudable effort.
