BWW Previews: Environmental Dance Musical E-MOTIONS 2019: PLASTIC FANTASTIC by GIGI ART OF DANCE

The dance school GIGI ART OF DANCE will present their biennial showcase dance musical, E-MOTIONS, on March 3rd, 2019 at the Ciputra Artpreneur Theatre, Jakarta. This year's title, PLASTIC FANTASTIC, seeks to raise awareness towards the problem of plastic waste.

The script to PLASTIC FANTASTIC was penned by Gianti Giadi herself, the founder and principal of GIGI ART OF DANCE, who's also directing the show. The main cast (Syyifa Dion, Ratih Riskomar, Cita Salim, Ferta Aromanty, and Neala Vangelin) is comprised of the most distinguished students, while most of the other students will also perform ensemble dance pieces in the show, showcasing the different schools of dance -- hiphop, Broadway, jazz, and more -- of GIGI ART OF DANCE.

The show will include various dance numbers by 12 different choreographers: Gianti Giadi, Margiana Dwi Ariani, Sharon Bittner, Eleanor Bittner, Susanna Bittner, Yaga, Ufa Sofura, Rizqy Bayuaji Aryadi, Aldianto Fitrawan, Karina Syahna, Alisa Soelaeman, and Adrian Yoko. Ivan Tangkulung assumes the role the music director, his next project after Teman's INTO THE WOODS. The sets are designed by Cahaya Lituhayu and Reigina Tjahaja, who previously also designed for JPAC's DREAMGIRLS. among other shows.
