Theatre community JAKARTA PLAYERS and social justice organization 100% MANUSIA will collaborate in HEAR US OUT, a play reading and panel discussion about mental health, social inclusion, and sexual abuse. The event will take place on Wednesday, 27 July, from 7:00 PM - 9:30 PM at Ruang Komunal Indonesia, One Pacific Place, Jakarta.
Jakarta Players is a non-profit and multinational theatre community that have been performing English plays in Jakarta since 1968. Their latest production was last May's anthology of plays LONGING FOR LOVE.
Social movement and organization 100% MANUSIA is perhaps most well-known for their film festival, but they have also partnered with theatrical productions bringing social issues. Elhaq Latief Production's ballet KINTSUGI and Jakarta Performing Arts Community's BLACKBIRD are among their ventures onto the stage.

As for the following panel discussion, HEAR US OUT is joined by Karina Negara from upstart counseling service KALM and Wulan Danoekoesoemo from the survivor empowerment organization Lentera Sintas Indonesia.
Seats to HEAR US OUT are free but limited. Interested theatergoers should register at the provided form. The event will contain adult language and content and may not be suitable for anyone under the age of 17.
