From the composers of Les Miserables, the Vietnam War's devastating impact forms the backdrop for the heartbreaking musical, Miss Saigon. Kim, a young Vietnamese woman, finds a whirlwind romance with Chris, an American GI stationed in Saigon. However, as the war nears its end and American troops withdraw, Chris is forced to leave Vietnam, shattering their dreams of a future together. Kim, left alone with their child, faces unimaginable struggles. The musical portrays her desperate fight for survival in a war-torn city, haunted by the loss of Chris and pursued by a vengeful former lover.
