The Feign’d Curtizans, or A Nights Intrigue is a 1679 comedic stage play by the English author Aphra Behn. It is centred around two sisters, one destined for the convent and the other for an arranged marriage. They run away to Rome posing as courtesans in order to be free and control their own futures. However, it is here that they discover the complexities of human nature and Love.
