The Buck Creek Players will continue their 2009-2010 season "On the Home Front" with The Playhouse Players Youth Production of Disney's Alice in Wonderland Junior, sponsored in part by The Franklin Township Chamber of Commerce. Opening Friday, July 30, and running for two weekends through Sunday, August 8, curtain times will be at 8:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, with 2:30 p.m. matinees offered on Sundays. All performances will be held at the Buck Creek Playhouse on Indianapolis' southeast side at 11150 Southeastern Avenue. Tickets are $14 for adults and $12 for children, students, and senior citizens (ages 62 & older) and can be reserved by calling (317) 862-2270. Group discounts are available for parties of ten or more.

Join the madcap adventures of Alice (Paige Noel Brown, Madison Smith, Olivia Smith) as she chases the White Rabbit (Emily Urbanski) down a rabbit hole and into one nonsensical situation after another in Wonderland! Along her journey, she races the Dodo Bird (Kaitlin Rutherford), gets tied up with Tweedle Dee (Lauren Raker) and Tweedle Dum (Delaney Mullins), shares a grin with The Cheshire Cat (Kelsie Clayton, Ariel Urban, and Ruthie Weller-Passman), raps with the bubble-blowing Caterpillar (Emma Weber), attends an un-birthday party with the Mad Hatter (Matthew Conwell) and March Hare (Kara Porzuczek), and beats the Queens of Hearts (Eileen Porzuczek) at her own game! Rounding out the cast is Alex Arthur, Payton Bowling, Blake Brown, Cameron Brown, Lina Buech, Sunnie Clark, Erin Connell, Hannah Haydock, Shelby Mathias, Chloe Patton, Morgan Ray, and Alexis Rouse. The fast-paced musical is based on the 1951 Disney film Alice in Wonderland and the novels Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll.

Director Phyllis Ann Arthur returns to direct for Buck Creek Players after directing Two By Two in 2003. Joining Arthur on the production team are Lynne B. Robinson (Producer), Sarah Prange (Vocal Director), D. Scott Robinson (Choreographer), Dan Denniston (Set Designer/Technical Director/Stage Manager), Donna Jacobi, Sandy Weber, Jayne Queck (Costumes), Jeff Rowand (Lighting Designer), Scott Fleshood (Assistant Director), Peter Meyer (Sound), and Dotti Peek (Properties).
