Sutton Foster, Linda Lavin & More Set for The Cabaret's 2015 Winter/Spring Season

The Cabaret kicks off its 2015 season on January 24th, with two-time Tony winner, six-time Tony nominee, and television star Sutton Foster. Thanks to the generous support of The Lacy Foundation, Foster promises to enchant with an intimate evening of songs from her gleaming Broadway career and solo albums Wish and An Evening with Sutton Foster: Live at Café Carlyle.

Sutton has starred in eleven Broadway shows, from The Drowsy Chaperone to Shrek the Musical, as well as her Tony Award-winning performances in Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie. As a solo artist, she has graced the stages of Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Café Carlyle, and Joe's Pub, among others. On television, Foster starred in ABC's Bunheads and is currently filming the TV Land sitcom Younger, premiering in January.

Other Broadway stars featured in the season include Mandy Gonzalez (Wicked, In The Heights) in her electrifying cabaret show,Love All Ways; and Tony and Golden Globe winner, Linda Lavin, (Broadway Bound, Gypsy, The Tale of the Allergist's Wife,Collected Stories) in her show Linda Lavin...Now.

Mandy Gonzales will also conduct a public master class for aspiring talent on Saturday, February 21st.

The Cabaret celebrates jazz and The Great American Songbook with one of the hippest new jazz groups today, The Hot Sardines, along with acclaimed vocalists Tony DeSare in his show Night Life and Spencer Day in The Mystery of You.

The Cabaret mixes it up with the quirky, multi-talented singer/songwriter, ukulele player, and satirist, Nelly McKay. Local talent is also featured in Cabaret: The New Generation, a show spotlighting up and coming cabaret talent; and in A Night at The Cabaretwith members of the Indianapolis Men's Chorus.

Tickets to The Cabaret's 2015 Winter/Spring season go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, December 9th. Tickets can be purchased by phone by calling The Cabaret at 317-275-1169 or ordered online atwww.thecabaret.org.

Discounts for season subscription packages are available. All performances are open to the public.

Acclaimed vocalist/pianist/composer Tony presents a postmodern version of the New York nightclub shows of the 1950's. Tony explores haunting, memorable melodies from noir to new, plus a few originals. The only requirements are a martini and a sophisticated, swinging melody.
