Broadway in Indianapolis and Sun King Brewery announce the creation of "Cara Mia," a Sun King seasonal beer, in conjunction with the arrival of THE ADDAMS FAMILY in Indianapolis! The kegs will be tapped on April 23 at The Glossbrenner Mansion (3202 N Meridian) from 6-8 pm and will include guided tours and a performance by the production's own Jennifer Fogarty (Wednesday Addams). Tickets are $20, benefitting Indiana Landmarks, and available via this link: http://tinyurl.com/SpookyKookyAffair. All guests must be 21 and present their ID at the event. No refunds.

"Cara Mia", meaning "my darling" represents the passionate love between Gomez and Morticia Addams and is brewed with a Belgium Wit base that has the essence of roses, hibiscus and orange zest. The orange inclusion is to be reflecting the area of Spain that Gomez is from and the floral/rose notes are what is left over from when Morticia arranges flowers. Sun King Brewer Dave Colt says, "The beer is mysterious and kooky and altogether spooky."

"Cara Mia" is the third brew created for a touring Broadway in Indianapolis production. The partnership's inaugural "Million Dollar Brewski" was created in 2011 for the engagement of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET. In 2013, "American Idiot IPA" was labeled to celebrate the raucous, in-your-face production of AMERICAN IDIOT.

THE ADDAMS FAMILY features an original story and it's every father's nightmare. Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family. A man her parents have never met. And if that weren't upsetting enough, she confides in her father and begs him not to

tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he's never done before - keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday's "normal" boyfriend and his parents.

THE ADDAMS FAMILY will play in Indianapolis at Clowes Memorial Hall May 13-18. The performance schedule is Tuesday through Thursday evenings at 7:30 pm, Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:00 pm, Saturday matinee at 2:00 pm, Sunday matinee at 1:00 and Sunday evening at 6:30 pm. Tickets for THE ADDAMS FAMILY begin at $28 and are available in person at the Broadway Across America Box Office downtown at 342 Massachusetts Avenue, Clowes Memorial Hall, The Old National Centre Ticket Office, online at BroadwayAcrossAmerica.com, or by phone at 1-800-982-2787. Groups of 10 or more can book now by calling 317-632-7469 x103.
