Palais Royale Announces Easter Brunch 4/24

The Palais Royale - South Bend's Premier Event Facility -- is pleased to host Easter Brunch on Sunday, April 24, 2011. Patrons can relax in the historical charm of the elegant ballroom while enjoying gracious service. The event will feature an outstanding buffet with delicious appetizers, omelets prepared by a chef, carved roasted leg of lamb, ham, salad, assorted entrees, and desserts. Non-Alcoholic beverages are included. A full cash bar including top shelf liquor and specialty wines will be available at additional charge. A special children's buffet will also be available and the Easter Bunny will present sweet treats to children. A harpist will play background music on stage. Photographer Peter Ringenberg will be available to take family photos for a nominal cost.

Tickets are $28.95 for adults and $14.95 for children ages 12 and under plus taxes. To purchase tickets, contact the Morris Box Office at 574-235-9190 or 800-537-8415. The Box Office is open regular hours Monday to Friday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

The Palais Royale ballroom opened in 1922 and hosted all the major big bands of the day. Duke Ellington, Tommy & Jimmy Dorsey, Harry James, Guy Lombardo and Cab Calloway are just a few of the great bands seen at the Palais in its heyday. There were dances every night of the week and the Palais was the place for countless celebrations, performances, dances and gatherings.
