Under the Streetlamp, a group that  features Jersey Boys stars Michael Ingersoll, Shonn Wiley, Michael Cunio and Christopher Kale Jones,  will give a concert at Merrivillee Indiana's Star Plaza Theatre on August 20 at 8 PM. The event will be filmed and later featured on PBS!

ROCK AND ROLL IS HERE TO STAY as recent leading cast members of the Tony Award-winning smash hit Jersey Boys, (the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons) deliver the sounds of the sixties in an electrifying evening of unforgettable hits. You're gonna hear-some-of-that-rock-and-roll-music, as well as doo-wop ditties, Motown melodies, and your favorites from the American radio songbook. Amazingly, these individual talents met playing a band onstage and later went on to form a real rock sensation of their very own.

Under the Streetlamp was founded by Michael Ingersoll, who starred as Nick Massi of the Four Seasons in Jersey Boys. During his three years with the show Ingersoll had the good fortune to play to sold-out crowds in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Chicago in over 1,300 performances. Yet in addition to the demanding Jersey Boys schedule of eight shows a week, Ingersoll conceived and crafted a unique solo concert in coordination with a Chicagoland not-for-profit performing arts center. The event grew in demand, selling out dozens of performances to overwhelming response, and Ingersoll's connection to his warm Chicagoland audiences became the catalyst for an exciting new enterprise. Stories of his success, combined with special guest appearances from his "Jersey Friends" made for an undeniably hot ticket. Soon it became apparent that the next step was to develop a brand new concert that featured all four boys like no one had seen them before.

All good things come to an end, and with their passing new possibilities arise. The Chicago company of Jersey Boys closed its record breaking run after thrilling over 1.3 million patrons. But the leading cast members, having become incredibly close friends and productive colleagues, weren't quite ready to let go of the music altogether, and thus Under the Streetlamp was born.
