CREATIVE TEAM:
Bennett Ayres (Book) is a playwright and museum educator. He is former scholarship recipient to the Kenyon Playwright's Conference and most recently his work appeared in the show, "Finding Home" at the Indiana Repertory Theatre. Bennett lives in Indianapolis with his wife, Katie.
KT Peterson (Book) is a playwright/actor/director/educator. Her plays/musicals have been performed at the New York Musical Theater Festival, Brooklyn Starr, and Children's Museum of Indianapolis. Awards include: Kennedy Center Musical Theater Award, Eugene O'Neill Playwriting Fellow, Word BRIDGE participating playwright, and a nomination for the National Playwriting Award. She has performed at the Indiana Repertory Theatre, the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, and The Forge Theater Company, NYC. Tony Guerrero (Music/Lyrics) is a musician, composer and producer, whose chart-topping solo work as a jazz artist has earned him both critical and a world-wide acclaim. His 2016 Christmas album A Swingin' Little Christmas featuring Jane Lynch, Kate Flannery, and Tim Davis is currently number 9 on Billboard's top Jazz Albums. Tony's musical, The Journey has been performed in venues around the country for nearly ten years. He has published books and dozens of articles on a variety of music-related topics in various national publications. Erin Rettino (Music/Lyrics) is a songwriter, singer, actress, producer and educator in Southern California. She has been part of the Grammy and Dove Award nominated children's series "Psalty The Singing Songbook" as a studio singer and co-producer. Her favorite roles include Tzeitel from Fiddler on the Roof and Tribe from the 40th Anniversary production of HAIR in Los Angeles (winner LA Weekly's Award for Best Musical) produced by original Broadway producer Michal Butler. Bo Frazier (Director) is a theatre maker who develops new work that challenges the dramatic form using movement, music and multimedia to bring diversity, inclusivity and a social conscience to the forefront of American Theatre. Originally from Indianapolis, he spent the last 2 years working in NYC where he Associate Produced for Heartbeat Opera, Directed for the Rutgers University MFA/BFA Acting program and presented his original music/theatre piece Konstantin at Dixon Place co-created with his collaborator Mary Colvin.
