Chicago's Musical of the Living Dead is spreading its infectious "Musical Zom-com" (zombie comedy) to Indianapolis for two nights only at the historic Irving Theater. Musical of the Living Dead is an original musical parody of classic zombie films and musical theatre. Featuring music inspired by everything from Gershwin to Green Day, Musical of the Living Dead follows the lives of ten very different people trapped in a farmhouse during the breakout of a zombie apocalypse – all brought together seeking refuge from a ravenous horde of brain-eating (and dancing) zombies.

The first few rows of the theatre have been set aside as the "Splatter Zone" for enthusiastic patrons eager to be up close and in on the gory action.

Directed by Marc Lewallen and Brad Younts. Produced by The Cowardly Scarecrow Theatre Company, INC. Presented at the Irving Theater, July 6th & 7th, 2012, Friday and Saturday, both shows at 10:00pm. Irving Theater is located at 5505 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN. Tickets are $20. Call (317) 356-3355. Tickets are also available at the door, here or at www.musicalofthelivingdead.com.

Starring Jill Valentine, Quinton Guyton, Adam Yencho, MAndy Whitenack, Danny Martinez, Liz McArthur, Jonathan Hymen, Mary Spray, Vance Brinkerhoff, Ashley Bush and Jacob Clausen, the show features book and lyrics by Marc Lewallen and Brad Younts, music by Mary Spray, musical arrangements by Matt Mehawich and choreography by Carisa Barreca.
