Lampkin Music Group is proud to present Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter Jimmy Webb in "Just Across the River" at the Palais Royale in South Bend, Indiana. Sunday, May 1st, 2011 @ 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $35.00 for General Admission and available at the Morris Center for the Performing Arts at 574-235-9190, or online at www.morriscenter.org.

Jimmy is touring the world in support of his latest CD "Just Across the River" featuring Jimmy with harmony vocals by Glen Campbell "By the Time I Get To Phoenix," Billy Joel "Wichita Lineman," Willie Nelson "If You See Me Getting Smaller," Linda Ronstadt "All I Know" and on the new single by Michael McDonald "Where Words End." Jimmy will entertain with these and other songs like the Richard Harris/Donna Summer classic "MacArthur Park." Jimmy was recently elected Chairman of the Songwriters Hall of Fame last month.

Jimmy Webb: Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, and Kris Kristofferson hit #1 in the late eighties with "The Highwayman," a ballad which won Jimmy a Grammy for Best Country Song of the Year, and a CMA Award for Single Of The Year. Linda Ronstadt included four of his efforts on her double platinum album, "Cry Like A Rainstorm, Howl Like the Wind" including the beautifully arranged and orchestrated "Still Within The Sound of My Voice." Jimmy's songs grace artists' albums, from Tony Bennett and Rosemary Clooney, to Urge Overkill, Reba McEntire, Barbra Streisand and Shawn Colvin. Jimmy is the only artist to ever receive Grammy awards for music, lyrics, and orchestration. He is a member of the National Academy of Popular Music Songwriter's Hall of Fame, and the Nashville Songwriter's Hall of Fame and in 1993 was awarded the National Academy of Songwriters Lifetime Achievement Award.
