IU Presents 'Holidaze' and 'Music of Mannheim Sreamroller' This Holiday Season

Cirque Dreams 'Holidaze' and 'The Christmas Music of Mannheim Steamroller' by Chip Davis, Jr. have been added to the Indiana University Auditorium's performance calendar for this year.

Individual tickets to these shows and all of the 2010-2011 season shows go on sale Friday, Sept. 3, at 10 a.m.

Cirque Dreams Holidaze comes to Bloomington Tuesday, Nov. 30 and Wednesday, Dec. 1. The family-friendly performance time is 7:30 p.m., and tickets are $32-$48 for general public and $17-$32 for children and IU Bloomington students.

Mannheim Steamroller plays Friday, Dec. 17 at 8 p.m. and tickets are $37-$70 for general public and $19-$70 for IU Bloomington students with valid ID. These performances will bookend the annual Chimes of Christmas tradition at IU Auditorium, which is taking place this year on Dec. 8.

Created and directed by Neil Goldberg, Cirque Dreams Holidaze is an original new musical extravaganza filled with acrobatic feats. An international cast of aerialists, singers, dancers, acrobats and musicians fill the stage and air, and even dangle from a 24-foot tall magical tree. With more than 100 costumes and an original musical score mixed with holiday favorites, Cirque Dreams Holidaze celebrates the holiday season with the same brand of entertainment that millions have enjoyed throughout the U.S. and abroad.
