HERE'S A STORY ... Shirley Jones and Florence Henderson have cornered the market as AMERICAN FAMILY ICONS. Arriving on Broadway back in the 50's, they were both discovered in the hit works of Rodgers & Hammerstein as well as a host of other musical vehicles that were to carve out two industry perennials.

Press notes exclaim that, "Whether your old enough to remember the original airings of "The Brady Bunch" and "The Partridge Family," or just seen re-runs, you understand the mutual love that all generations have for the syndicated shows (now worldwide).
Today, Mrs. Partridge and Mrs. Brady continue to unite family members as they embark together on stage for the first time".

C'MON GET HAPPY ... Shirley has appeared in TV shows and theatrical musicals such as THE SOUND OF MUSIC, South Pacific and OKLAHOMA, as well as 53 movies including, THE MUSIC MAN, OKLAHOMA and CAROUSEL, receiving the Best Supporting Oscar for the role of Lulu Baines in the film ELMER GANTRY. She has worked opposite some of the greatest leading men including Burt Lancaster, Robert Preston, Glenn Ford, Richard Widmark, James Stewart and opposite Lloyd Bridges in her EMMY nominated roll in "Silent Night, Lonely Night." She then received a second EMMY nomination for her work in the PBS movie "There Were Times, Dear."

Florence Starred in theatrical productions of FANNY, THE SOUND OF MUSIC, South Pacific, OKLAHOMA and THE KING AND I. Her television career began as the "Today Girl" on NBC's THE TODAY SHOW and eventually she received the distinction of being the first woman to host THE TONIGHT SHOW. She went on to host LATER TODAY on NBC as well as her programs, COUNTRY KITCHEN on the Nashville Network and THE Florence Henderson SHOW on RLTV. THE WALL STREET JOURNAL, based on consumer appeal, rated her #5 out of the 10 top television celebrity endorsers. In 2009, Florence was inducted into the Smithsonian Institutes legendary Ladies of Stage & Screen.

Both Shirley and Florence have guest starred on just about every major talk and variety show, including "The Tonight Show," "Merv Griffin," "The Carol Burnett Show," "The Dean Martin Show," "Mike Douglas," and "The Bob Hope Specials", among others.

IT'S MORE THAN A HUNCH ... Beginning November 2009, these two entertainment luminaries will kick off a new chapter in their all ready illustrious careers as they debut their multi media concert series with The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra featuring new orchestrations and charts, retrospective career overtures, clip reels, personal anecdotes, first time duets, and classic songs.
We are excited to announce that this show will be available to both Symphonies and PAC's (with smaller musician configurations) beginning December 2009 through the 2010-11 season.

IDIANAPOLIS SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA ... The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra is the largest performing arts organization in the state of Indiana and one of only 17 year-round orchestras in the nation. The ISO is made up of 87 full-time musicians and performs 200 concerts for more than 300,000 people every year. Since joining the ISO in 2002, Music Director Mario Venzago has expanded the orchestra's repertoire and broadened the range of styles to include large romantic works as well as contemporary masterpieces. Jack Everly, Principal Pops Conductor, is well known to audiences across North America for his innovative approach to pops programming that combines the virtuosity of the orchestra with the elements of design, costuming and dance. The ISO leads many educational opportunities for thousands of children and adults each year, including the Arts Everyday program and the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra. The ISO performs at the historic Hilbert Circle Theatre and appears on the grounds of Conner Prairie each summer for the ever-popular Marsh Symphony on the Prairie series.
