OPEN AUDITIONS Wednesday & Thursday, August 12 & 13, 2009 7:00 PM

Director Parrish Williams is seeking four males and three females (ages 20-50) for this horrific comic romp by Jane Martin. Nine performances are slated over three weekends, October 2-18, 2009.

Big 8, a feisty and bitter critter, is facing foreclosure on the Wyoming ranch where she rehabilitates injured rodeo cowboys. The arrival of a shocking woman named Shedevil and a one-eyed Ukrainian biker named Black Dog ushers in outrageous violence and horror in this shoot 'em up, knock 'em up, cut 'em up comic romp that roasts the cowboy mentality of western writers like Zane Grey. Showcasing the antic side of this prolific, award winning playwright, this bodacious and macabre cross-over comedy mixes horror and hilarity as it pits the code of the West against contemporary darkness.

All roles are available. Those auditioning will be asked to read from the script. Please bring all conflicts from mid-August through October 2009. Scripts may be perused at the I-MCPL Central Library (5th floor Information Desk - 40 E. St. Clair Street) or at the Franklin Road branch (5550 S. Franklin Road).
