The Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre stage will become a national one when MTV airs a new episode of the show MADE on Jan. 2.

The program is about helping kids live out their dream. This episode, titled "The Real Show Choir," features The Central Sound from Lawrence Central High School in its effort to raise enough money to go to FAME Chicago - a national show choir competition.

The catch? They have just 10 days to put together a fundraiser to take place at Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre. The goal? The Central Sound must raise nearly $10,000 to be able to take part in the prestigious FAME Chicago event.

"Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre was happy to help these talented young performers by providing the venue for an extraordinary evening of entertainment," Doug Stark, owner of Beef & Boards, said.

The theatre made its performance space and staff available to The Central Sound, and the profits from beverages and desserts sold were donated to the choir.

But was it enough? Tune in to MTV at 6 p.m. on Jan. 2 to find out, and to catch part of the performance from that evening. It took place during Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre's production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat - viewers may notice the pyramid from the set of that show.

It's appropriate. The theatre, MTV and The Central Sound know, "Any Dream Will Do."
