A celebration of songs, stories and dancing, A Beef & Boards Christmas is a true variety show sparkling with all that makes the holidays special. This production marks its 17th year of family fun, with impressive singers and skilled dancers wearing dazzling costumes on a beautiful, Christmas-tree flanked stage. The show includes a live Nativity, a salute to the military, and a special segment to entertain the young and young at heart in the audience.
Every detail is important, and the cast is carefully selected to present the best holiday greeting from Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre.
"Each year is special," Doug Stark, owner of the theatre, said, "because every cast brings a different element of their lives to the production."
A production for all ages, A Beef & Boards Christmas 2009 features talented performers of all ages. They hail from the Indianapolis area, including 12-year-old Anna Lasbury of Carmel, to the North Pole -- with Santa and even the famous red-nosed reindeer Rudolph making sure everyone has a great time!
The show is directed by Elizabeth Stark, co-directed and choreographed by Ron Morgan. Music director is Terry Woods, with costumes by Brian Horton.
There are 39 performances of A Beef & Boards Christmas 2009 in the intimate atmosphere of Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre. Tickets range from $34 to $57, and include Chef Odell Ward's holiday dinner buffet offering carved turkey and all the trimmings, a fruit & salad bar, unlimited coffee and tea. Parking is always free.
The final performance of A Beef & Boards Christmas 2009 is a special New Year's Eve celebration, which includes the holiday dinner buffet, performance and party favors. The dance floor is then open to guests with live music provided by the Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre Orchestra until the Times Square ball drops at midnight on the theatre's two big screens. The party continues with a champagne toast, more dancing and then a scrumptious breakfast buffet provided by Chef Odell Ward. Tickets range from $72 to $92 for this exceptional evening.
