Surnai's Peer Ghani at Prithvi Theatre

Peer Ghani is the story of an eternal looser who as a boy was raised on fairy tales & mythical stories during days of poverty. As he grows he is unable to deal with his reality as the real & spirit worlds clash. The play takes us through three stages of his life – the effervescent youth, a successful middle-aged trader and a broken old man. He loved two women in his life – his mother and his beloved haseena - and he deceived both of them.
