Recharge@99, written and directed by Rohit Tiwari is a play about the latest obsession of the modern world - The mobile phone. The mobile or cell as we lovingly call it, has almost become an extended organ of the human body. Everyone is carrying a mobile phone these days, but no one knows the etiquette of how to use it properly. The play has three hilarious stories about different generations and different classes of people bound by a common link, the mobile. How a middle aged woman born in the age of trunk calls is surviving in this age of touch screens. How a love story prospers, in the era of BBMs and WhatsApps and how the mobile being a personal communication device is so public when it comes to our own communication habits.
