Chitragoshhti at Experimental Theatre

Sushama Deshpande and Shanta Gokhale, seeing the theatricality of Sudhir Patwardhan`s paintings, got a bunch of Awishkar actors together, put them through an art appreciation workshop, and let them improvise their responses to a small selection of his works. From the actors` improvisations emerged interesting stories of family tensions and life in the metropolis, which Sushama and Shanta structured into this play.
