Aaj Rang Hai at Prithvi Theatre

A dramatic exploration of Hazrat Khusrau's poetry, life and philosophy through music, dance and drama. In a quaint neighborhood in a small town in Madhya Pradesh lives Beni, an erstwhile singer. A self-proclaimed mentor she delves into her knowledge of Indian Classical music, specifically Khusrau's work to counsel her neighbours on all matters through interesting vignettes.
Challenging her secular views is the fiery bua who lives across the lane. This then forms the backdrop for the play to delve into the rich tapestry of Indian Classical music and its secular weavings.
Khusrau's references and his poetry become the means to explore a love story; alive comes a neighborhood where there is no conflict, only love, and lots of music and dance.
