VIDEO: Guitarist Kapil Renders Unprecedented Guitar Version of Padmavati's Ghoomar Song

India's top guitarist Kapil Srivastava has rendered an unprecedented beautiful guitar version of Ghoomar Song from Padmavati Movie starring Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and directed by Sanjey Leela Bhansali.

Ghoomar is actually a traditional folk dance of Rajasthan, India and is chiefly performed by women who wear flowing dresses called Ghaghara

On asking Kapil "Despite being a non-guitar based song why you select this song?"; He replied "Many of guitarmonk students and other guitar aspirants have asked me whether such song could be possible to play on guitar? I couldn't explain them better than releasing this video. I also told them that guitar has no genre-based obligations, you can also render complex things on guitar if you approach it via right technique. And I am glad to share it to the music loving fraternity via following video."
