National Centre Performing Arts presents RAAVANLEELA, the third piece in a three-comedy series, produced by Yatri. RAAVANLEELA runs August 15 at Experimental Theatre.

In an amateurish Ramleela of a small town, chaos ensues because of the involvement of all untrained members of society enacting characters from the Ramayana. The situation turns hilarious when Kartar Singh turns Ramleela into Ravanleela and refuses to die, if his demands of a fee hike are not met.

The organiser apologises for this premature ending, and is pelted with tomatoes. Ramleela in the end turns out to be a true Ravanleela.
