Our modern lives today are marked by technological changes, the way we see things or the way we react is today all dependent on the way technology guides us however a dance recital tries to explore that despite all the contemporary world advances, basic human emotions such as greed, ambition, anger, loss are still the demons we are fighting. An Indian classical dance Atma Rati by Dr Dimple Kaur that will be performed in the capital seeks an answer to these questions. The artist will be showcasing through her dance the meanings of the famous Hindu scripture Gita. The artist sees a strong co-relation between the verses and how it can be used to empower our inner minds and deal with our modern lives.

The performance by Dr Kaur is bound to be full of psychological interpretations as the artist herself is a practicing psychotherapist along with being an accomplished classical dancer. Through her work, the artist has an intuitive ability to delve into mindsets and with her dance she is brining together all the synergies to wonderfully comprehend the challenges of modern life.
