A unique festival showcasing six different genres of performances will be taking place in Mumbai. Ansh Darshak festival that commences at the famous Prithvi Theatre from July 25 will have on viewing both full length as well as short plays. A treat for theatre lovers, the festival has picked some of the most relevant to the current times shows for the audiences.

Shirish a theatre writer - director urges his aging parents who want to see him get married before they die, to look at their death as a beautiful event. To convince them in a way they understand best, he employs a beautiful aspiring actress who plays the escort of death in what he calls a reality show kind of a play which takes place in his house; with his life.
The childhood tooth fairy slowly fades away and before we know it religious idols have taken her place. In the times of communal war Sandeep Joshi a writer decides to become an atheist - bid good bye to the gods who have occupied his mindscape and bring back 'Pari' the fairy who represents the innocence of his childhood. The question is, in doing so does he become a joke?
