BWW Previews: AND NOW A BROADWAY STYLE Ramlila In Delhi

Its that time of the year again when small and big stages across India start setting up for Ramlila. An annual tradition that re-tells the story of Ramayana, typically precedes the Hindu festival of Diwali. But with the changing times as Ramlilas across country become grander and more elaborate here comes a Ramlila on stage that will give you a Broadway experience.

Aryan Heritage Foundation will be presenting a Broadway style Ramlila called "Sampurn Ramayana - in 3 hours. The show will be set in the most grand and spectacular way according to the show producers. Unlike the traditional formats of storytelling that have since long being observed during a Ramlila session, now the show promises to be a representation of modern sound and stage technology.

The organizers inform that perfect modern technological ingredients are offered in terms of music, sound, choreography, lighting, stage design, and costumes, at a breathtaking pace, in an effective and mesmerizing spectacle. The 3-hour long spectacle is going to be gripping and aims to keep the audience mesmerized through out.

The ancient Hindu text that has seen countless re-makes over the years in India, continues to be a major crowd puller. People across ages ands sects have always held the story and presentation in high esteem.

Sampurn Ramayana is directed by Shashidharan Nair and choreographed by Papiha Desai. The show is performed by over 120 professional actors and dancers. Music Director of the show are Chandra Kamal and Bharat Kamal. Title Song of the show is sung by Udit Narayan and Ravan's introduction is sung by Kailash Kher. Narrator's voice over is done by Mukesh Khanna.

It will be presented daily from 7pm to 10pm at Netaji Subhash Place, Opposite NDM 2 Mall, Pitam Pura, New Delhi. Ph : 9810290925. Free Entry (By invitation)
