American Comedy at Budapest Operetta and Musical Theatre

The story takes place in New York, in the second half of the 1930's, aboard the cruise ship La Paz, where we witness the stormy encounter of a soured young businesswoman (Tony) and a handsome adventurer (Frank). We would not like to spoil the exciting storyline for you, but there is one thing you should know for sure: the ship is full of peculiar and funny figures that will surely put a smile on your face! There's Tony's fiance?, for example, the neurotic and vain aristocrat (Albert) - a still valid option for today's self-conscious women - and the beastly wife (Edith) with her little man living under the brutal oppression (Alphonse), a life-loving old lady (Irene), who even loved more to play tennis than drinking champagne: they all endlessly strive after happiness and desperately try to succeed in their own way.
