Abigail at Budapest Operetta and Musical Theatre

In 2004, Szilárd Somogyi made Magda Szabó's novel about Álarcosbál on stage, and in 2008 he made a bigger assignment for Abigel's musical performance. His work was composed by Tibor Kocsák, composer and Tibor Miklós, who had performed literary masterpieces such as Let a Good Mind Die or Anna Karenina come to life as early as during the Rock Theater.

From a new musical aspect, he approaches the story of a melodious heart-warming, crying-laughing story. The whole Gina, a teens genialist recalling at a dramatic moment, a reassuring of a decisive era of her life. The turn-of-the-century novel offers an opportunity for an unprecedented stage adaptation!
