The Houston Chamber Choir opens its 30th season with the world premiere of The Son of Man, conducted by Robert Simpson. This new work by English composer Patrick Hawes features choir, soloists, and orchestra, bringing iconic texts from the Old and New Testaments to life through memorable melodies and dramatic orchestration. The concert marks a significant collaboration with the Houston Symphony and promises to resonate with audiences, reminiscent of Handel's Messiah. This event will take place at South Main Baptist Church in Houston.
