Playhouse 1960's Short Play Festival aka SPF 1960 at Playhouse 1960

Playhouse 1960 is proud to announce its inaugural Short Play Festival aka SPF 1960. SPF 1960 will run May 12, 13, 14, 19, 20 and 21 @ 8:00 pm. Over 70 submissions were received from playwrights from Harris and adjoining counties. Read by a committee the short plays were narrowed down to 16. The evening will feature the 16 short works, 13 directors and 35 actors performing in multiple plays. These are debut performances for all of these plays. This will become an annual festival giving playwrights the opportunity to see their works brought to life on stage. Tickets are $18.00 for Adults and $15.00 for Seniors (55+) and Students. Tickets may be purchased online at www.playhouse1960.com or at the box office 30 minutes prior to the performance. Playhouse 1960 is located at 6814 Gant Road, Houston Tx 77066. This is 1 mile south of 1960 on Cutten Road. Playhouse 1960 is an all-volunteer community theatre functioning as a 501(c) 3 since 1973.
