On April 7 and 8, the Houston Symphony welcomes Concertmaster Yoonshin Song to the Jones Hall stage to present the delicate grace of Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 1. Then, nine musicians from the orchestra join together for a performance of Louise Farrenc’s genial Nonet. The concerts conclude with Haydn’s charming and good-humored Symphony No. 101.
