The inhabitants of the smallest trailer park in Texas (4 doublewides and a shed) are thrown for a loop when they learn that the nearby town of Tugaloo is determined to annex them. The hilarious cast of characters works together to save their community. Joveeta Crumpler takes on the fight while trying to keep her feisty mother, Caprice, out of the bars. Her brother, “Baby” Crumpler is convinced to compete in the womanless beauty pageant with hilarious results. There’s kind-hearted Georgia Dean, who runs Bronco Betty’s Buffeteria; Big Ethel Satterwhite; recent arrival Larken Barken; the curmudgeon Haywood Sloggett; Lomax Tanner and Starla Pudney. These enemies, friends and neighbors realize they’ll all have to work together to defeat the encroaching annexation if they want to survive being swallowed up by “the big guys”. The rollicking mayhem of this comedy will keep audiences laughing. Grab your Stetson and come on over to Doublewide, Texas!
