DACAMERA presents Davóne Tines and Adam Nielsen at The Menil Collection

DACAMERA continues its 20192020 series of intimate concerts at the Menil Collection with a performance from bass-baritone Davne Tines in his first American recital tour with pianist Adam Nielsen. Tines makes his DACAMERA debut with a highly personal recital in the form of a mass, bringing together works of J.S. Bach; spirituals arranged by Tyshawn Sorey, Moses Hogan and Tines himself; rarely heard songs of Julius Eastman and Margaret Bonds; and a new work by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Caroline Shaw.
