THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE, Tony Award Winning Musical Comedy will take the stage at Broadway Bound Performing Arts Center in Houston from April 29 through May 7. Tickets on sale now. Winner of the TONY and the Drama Desk Awards for Best Book, the show is about an eclectic group of six mid-pubescents who vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime.
The production is directed by Alexander P. Garza, music directed and choreographed by Laura Michelle Garza, and produced by BBPAC. The show features the talents of Amanda Hart Walker as Rona Lisa Peretti, Alejandro Martinez as Leaf Coneybear, Marianne Maglasang as Marcy Park, Kalin Coates as Olive Ostrovsky, Chelsea Lerner as Logainne Schwartzandgrubenierre, Phillip Brown as William Morris Barfee, Ramon Madrid as Chip Tolentino, Bryan Kaplun as Vice Principal Panch, and Annkwinnette Bob as Mitch(elle) Mahoney.
