The evening--led by honorary chairs Janet and Harvin Moore and co-chairs Judy Y. Liu and Christa and Kevin O'Hara--honored the Mandarin Immersion Magnet School and Yellowstone Academy as the 2018 Arts Empowerment Award recipients for their commitment to arts and culture in education. Over 250 guests filled the ballroom of The Junior League of Houston to celebrate the honorees and enjoy spectacular performances by featured arts partners. The night featured a beautiful installation by Laura Tyagi and exciting new activities like the mystery bag balloon pop, year of dining raffle, and interactive mirror photo booth. All proceeds from the evening benefitted Young Audiences of Houston's outreach efforts, serving over 243,910 youth through equitable access to the arts and arts-based learning.
