Theatre Under The Stars Announces The Cast Of ALL SHOOK UP

Meet the cast of Theatre Under The Stars' (TUTS) upcoming production of All Shook Up!

Tim Rogan is returning to the role of Chad after playing the role last summer at The Muny. He has performed at many regional theatres including The Kennedy Center, The Olney Theatre Center, and Studio Theatre. He was also part of the national tours of Disney's Beauty and the Beast, and Camelot. Julia Krohn, who was in the Las Vegas company of Jersey Boys, performed Off-Broadway in Joy, and who has appeared in numerous TUTS productions will play "Natalie." Houston audiences will recognize Mark Ivy, who plays "Dennis," from his roles in Little Shop of Horrors (TUTS), Next to Normal (Stages), and A Christmas Carol (Alley). Kristen Warren, who is well known to TUTS audiences from roles in productions of Murder Ballad, Man of La Mancha, Reefer Madness, Cabaret, Grease and The Sound of Music, will play "Sandra".

Brian Mathis, who plays "Jim," has appeared in many TUTS productions including last summer's production of Pippin where he played King Charles. In addition to his vast regional theatre work, he was also in the national tours of Seussical and Jesus Christ Superstar. Christina Wells, who appeared on the current season of America's Got Talent, will play "Sylvia." Chesley Ann Santoro, who has appeared in 26 TUTS productions including The Music Man, Disney's Beauty and the Beast, and last summer's production of Pippin, will play "Mayor Matilda." Kevin Cooney, who has appeared in many productions at TUTS including The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, and A Christmas Story, and who has appeared in many films and TV shows, will play "Sheriff Earl." TUTS Humphreys School of Musical Theatre (HSMT) students, Zac Molegraff and Abriel Coleman are joining the cast in the roles of as "Dean" and "Lorraine" respectively.

Rounding out the cast in the ensemble is Courtney Chilton, Austin Colburn, Luke Hamilton, Laura Elizabeth Henning, Mark Jackson, Logan Keslar, Asia M Kreitz, Alexa Magro, Yasmyn Sumiyoshi, and Christopher Tipps.

The cast also features an ensemble of students from TUTS' Humphreys School of Musical Theatre. The HSMT Ensemble is: Andrew Burke, Emma Kate Farlow, Chase Fontenot, Emily Freeman, Kelly Lomonte, Miles Marmolejo, Sarah Roldan, Tobias Rytting, and Gabi Wager.

All Shook Up, will open at Miller Outdoor Theatre on July 10 and will run through July 15. This musical extravaganza is inspired by, and features the songs of Elvis Presley. This hip-swiveling, lip-curling musical will have you jumpin' out of your blue suede shoes with such classics as "Heartbreak Hotel," "Jailhouse Rock," and "Don't Be Cruel." All Shook Up will be directed by Mitchell Greco who also directed TUTS' 2016 production of The Rocky Horror Show. Joining him on the production are Dana Lewis (Choreographer), John L. Cornelius, II (Music Director), Michael Clark (Lighting Designer), Andrew Harper (Sound Designer), Kevan Loney (Projection Designer), Colleen Grady (Costume Designer), and Jeff Knaggs (Hair and Makeup Designer).

This production is free to the public. Hillside seating is not ticketed. Blankets and lawn chairs are welcome. Please note that lawn chairs must be placed on the left side of the hill. Sit on the right side of the hill on your picnic blanket.

This is a ticketed event for the covered seating area. Free tickets are available (4 per person over age 16 while they last) at the Miller Outdoor Theatre box office the day of the performance between the hours of 10:30am to 1pm. If tickets remain at 1pm, the box office will re-open one hour before show time to distribute the remaining tickets.
