The Company OnStage Theater has announced the opening production of its 2014-2015 season, William Shakespeare's, "The Tempest."
Directed by L. Robert Westeen and set in a 1950's era asylum, "The Tempest" tells the story of Prospero, sent away from the world that he knew and loved for 12 years, he plots to restore himself and his daughter Miranda to their rightful places using head games, illusion and manipulation. He creates a tempest to trap his usurping brother Antonio and the complicit Alonso of Naples into his world of solitude. There, his machinations bring about the revelation of Antonio's lowly nature, the redemption of a King, and the marriage of Miranda to Alonso's son, Ferdinand.
