Main Street Theater (MST) presents The Wizard of Oz based on the book by L. Frank Baum, playing on Saturdays through July 29 at 11am and 2pm and on Sundays July 16 - 30, 2017. This is a rare opportunity to see the musical based on the book rather than the movie. Audiences will be treated to more of the Wicked Witch of the West and Oz himself, among other special numbers. All of MST's Theater for Youth productions are based on children's literature.

Main Street Theater offers Accommodations Performances. June 24 at 11am is a Sensory-Friendly performance. July 15 has an Audio Description opportunity available: just ask for a headset at Will Call. Tickets are $18 - $22, depending on section. Large print playbills are also available at Will Call.

All performances are in midtown at 3400 Main Street, 77002, in MATCHBox 4. All tickets are on sale via phone at 713.524.6706 or online at MainStreetTheater.com.

Performances of The Wizard of Oz are also available for summer camps groups. Call 713.524.9196 or visit the website.
