SDI is taking a Steampunk style twist on Sondheim's rare, musical thriller. Sweeney Todd is a suspenseful, and at times humorous telling of the infamous tale of the murderous barber of Fleet Street in London. Sweeney Todd, the unjustly exiled barber, returns to London seeking revenge. His thirst for blood soon expands to include his unfortunate customers. And he is helped along his murderous way by the opportunistic pie-shop owner downstairs.

Stage Door Inc. is a local, community theatre located inside the Pasadena Town Square Mall. Voted Best Family Entertainment Venue in Pasadena for the last two years in a row by the Pasadena Citizen readers, Stage Door is a true "community" theater. They partner with the Pasadena Strawberry Festival and are proud members of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce.
