Theatre Southwest presents "The 18th Annual Festival of Originals" produced by Mimi Holloway.
Five original plays by five emerging playwrights. Come and enjoy, as we bring to life five talented artist''s funny, poignant, beautifully written stories. Check out pics from the shows below!

Despite their interfering parents, Terri and Joe endeavor to forge an honest connection while waiting for their flight to depart. The parents of both Terri and Joe are always on stage as they are always in the subconscious.

Sure she's engaged to Vanity Fair Magazine's "Artist of the Moment"--Shep Evantide. But, even that does not prepare her for the NYC art gallery scene. Bitchy art snobs, gay gallerists, real Prada. Oh my

"In Mrs. Baker's Room", written by Steven Kaplan of Bogota, NJ.
Jacob Ritter teaches fifth grade. When Mrs. Baker, his fifth grade teacher, arrives unexpectedly at his classroom, she is stunned to see that it is an exact replica of hers, down to the ditto machine he purchased one E-bay to do his handouts. He has modeled everything he does and teaches on what he recalls from Mrs. Baker. Everything. The only thing missing from his perfect classroom is Mrs. Baker herself.

"The Woman Order", written by George Hickenlooper
After dumping a full chamber pot on the head of a passing Yankee soldier, twenty-year old Adele Cutuere finds herself incarcerated, following Union General Benjamin Butler's draconian Woman's Order Number 28, which stipulates that any female in occupied New Orleans who publicly insults one of his men may be treated as a common prostitute. Sharing the cell with Adele is sophisticated madam.
