Photo Flash: First Look at TUTS Underground's Steamy MURDER BALLAD

This past Sunday, I got to crash a technical rehearsal of TUTS Underground's steamy production of MURDER BALLAD. In its Houston Premiere, the hit musical features Steel Burkhardt (as Tom), Pat McRoberts (as Michael), Lauren Molina (as Sara) and Kristin Warren (as the Narrator).
Running in the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts' Zilkha Hall from April 17 - 27, 2014, MURDER BALLAD tells a tale of passion gone awry. Sara, an Upper West Sider seems to have it all until Tom, a fling from her downtown past, crawls back under skin. Love, lust, sex, passion, betrayal and murder fill the stage in this explosive rock musical.
MURDER BALLAD is performed without an intermission, so TUTS Underground invites patrons to arrive around an hour before the show to enjoy the fully functional bar, pool table, and dart board on set. Also, you never know who may be mingling among the crowd!
